
Edward Painvin: CO-FOUNDER
Edward S Painvin, CFA, CRPC, CMT earned a BA in Accountancy Magna Cum Laude from Flagler College in 1994 and a MBA in Finance with Distinction from Wake Forest University in 1997. He is a charter holder of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), the CRPC (Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor), and the CMT (Chartered Market Technician). Edward spent the last six years in Columbus, Ohio as a Senior Portfolio Manager with the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System where he actively managed $4 billion for the State’s domestic equity allocation. Prior to that, he served as Chief Investment Officer for Chase Investment Counsel Corporation in Charlottesville, Virginia with responsibility for the firm’s institutional large cap and individual balanced portfolios. Edward was also a Senior Portfolio Manager with RCM Capital Management (a Company of Allianz Global Investors) based in San Francisco from 2000 to 2012 where he directly managed $600 million of large cap growth portfolios as well as assisting their CIO with over $6.5 billion for institutional clients. Edward began his career with Wachovia Asset Management in North Carolina as a Research Analyst for their estate and closely-held business group. Edward is a member of the CFA Institute and the Market Technicians Association. He has appeared on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Fox Business and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, the Financial Times, Dow Jones Newswires and other publications.
